About Rosewood 2024
(September 27 - 30)
This annual weekend music camp has been running for over 40 years. People of all ages and skill levels come together for a weekend of music making. Other activites include dancing, singing, creative activities, bush walks and more. There is accommodation for tents, camper vans and caravans as well as indoor bunk rooms.
Accomplished professional musicians, dancers, choralists and creative artists run workshops for beginners and the more skilled.
We see many parents who were brought to Rosewood as children many years ago, when it was previously called Roses Gap Music Camp and held at Roses Gap at the northern end of the Grampians, are now bringing their own children to Rosewood! It's that sort of camp.

The weekend starts with a Friday evening concert given by music tutors who also describe what will happen in their individual workshops. There's a Saturday evening bush dance for kids followed by a dance for everyone.
And after a wonderful two days, the weekend concludes first with an outdoor performance of dance, singing and music around sunset followed by a massive Sunday evening concert performed by all workshop participants as well as assorted groups of musicians.
