In addition to our published list of great tutors, the 2024 Rosewood Music Camp will feature two amazing musicians from two ancient cultures - Australian and African.
They are Dave Arden, songwriter and key guitarist/vocalist with the late Archie
Roach and Ruby Hunter, AND King Bell, singer, percussionist and dancer extraordinaire from the Democratic Republic of Congo!
Drawing on Rosewood's existing connections with local African and indigenous communities, these two will run special workshops sharing their stories and teaching songs from their respective culture.
In addition to Arden and Bell, Suzi Mzuri will also be leading workshops, further enriching the camp’s diverse program. Together, these three artists will offer workshops that highlight their respective cultural traditions, sharing their stories, teaching traditional songs, and showcasing their unique musical styles.
Rosewood Music Camp attendees will have the unparalleled chance to learn directly from these incredible artists, gaining invaluable insights into their rich musical heritages and participating in hands-on workshops.
