What's at Charnwood, the venue for Rosewood Music Camp?
The setting is stunningly beautiful and the venue has large areas for camping and caravanning with large numbers of hired Porta Loos for nearby and convenient use by campers. The infrastructure includes a large dining room with a professional kitchen, several other rooms for activities. A hired "Wash Against Waste" van close to the dining room provides dishwashing facilities for those who have had catered meals. For those who have self-catered there is separate washing up facility behind the dining room. There are several shared bunk rooms with toilets and kitchens.
A large marquee is hired for the camp and used for concerts and rehearsals for choirs and dancers. Several smaller marquees are set up for rehearsals for smaller groups and for arts and craft and children's activities.
A professional caterer is contracted to provide fantastic catered lunches and evening meals for those who prefer not to self-cater for those meals and a coffee, tea and snacks van will be at the Music Camp for those needing a "lift" and a nibble! Check out the "Catered Meals" page for more information.

Camping Sites
There are three large cleared paddocks suitable for camping. The first two, "Archers Camp", and "Wombat Camp" are reserved for tents. Cars have to be parked in reserved parking areas. The third paddock, "Trinity Camp" is reserved for caravans and camper vans and the cars that pull them. All camping grounds have a good number of portable toilets situated conveniently. BE AWARE that there are no powered sites! And if the weather is unkind and the ground is wet there is a risk of getting bogged. Fortunately the manager at Charnwood has a very useful tractor. Potable water is available at the camp sites.
